Les cultures du monde

Hi everyone! Since the topic of this week is chosen by us, i will talk about a festival that really like me, his name is "Les cultures du monde".

This festival is celebrated in France, specifically in Gannat, in the region of "Auvergne" and his realized in July of every year with the sponsorship & colaboration of UNESCO and CIOFF, "Les cultures du monde" is to be a space of cultural convergence, when delegations of different countris and continents show their culture through: Dances, Music, clothes and artesany. In 2009 i had the opportunity to participate in this glorious festival and i think that this experiencie was one of the most enriching events of my life, i had the opportunity to know other cultures, other ways of relating, of comunicate, of live...this is why i think that these cultural spaces are so necesasary to promote respect and tolerance between different cultures and delete the xenophobia so recurring in the actually.

Festival les Cultures du Monde: l’édition 2016 se prépare !

However, the days of festival are not only for shows and expose your culture, there are also instances to share with the people (public and artist) when you can learn a new song, a new dance or a new sentence in another language, in other words always exists a cultural exchange.

This year will be held from the 22nd to the 30th of July and one of my sutdents - a 10 year old girl - will play accordion representing Chile, which represents a pride for me, and give me a great satisfaction because another generations of kids can live this beauty experience!

If you can, take a look at the videos on youtube of the shows of the different countries... you will be impressed!!
